Well, when a user on Base wants to bridge to Solana they send their $Dewey to wormhole who holds the token in a secure vault. Then they mint you $Dewey on Sol in a 1 to 1 ratio, when the users wants to return to Base the wormhole will burn the Solana token and release $Dewey from the Base vault to the user.
This gives $Dewey the unique opportunity to capture both markets. The price will equalize between the two as prices fluctuate. Users will bridge from one chain to the other to take advantage of price differences. Users can arbitrage between the chains to take profits from the differences in prices. As more people pruchase $Dewey the price differences will likely equalize.
